Always appoint a Second in command (2I/C)
Self explanatory. Make sure your second in command knows they have been promoted and what their duties are. Its important to know the difference between the leaders responsibilities and the duties they perform. First the easy one, the second in command takes over when the leader isn’t there. However he has other duties as well. The leader usually handles organization and command tasks and the second deals with equipment and administration.
