This week Balls Airsoft bootcamp will feature airsoft magazines. Why you may ask? Too cover the many different styles of magazines both in design and function,
but its not as complicated as people are trying to make it out to be.

Two main types of airsoft mags, low and hi capacity. That it. For some reason people are overly complicating magazines by putting in many categories, super high capacity airsoft magazines, hi-cap airsoft magazines, mid-cap airsoft magazines, low-cap magazines and
real-cap airsoft magazines. No, just two types of airsoft magazines low and high capacity, that it. Of course each has its sub group to over complicate it, but if you stick with low and high capacity you wont be wrong. Its simple, If your magazine is under 100bb’s its a low cap, over 100 its a hi capacity, or in short hi-caps carry a shit ton of ammo.
That is the basics. Now you may have heard of mid-cap airsoft magazines?
Don’t be fooled they are hi-caps. For some reason people started to put the 160 round magazines in a new category
they are hi-caps, just 160ish. The advice for the magazines has started to sound like a Tampon commercial. It may sound something like this.

Go from compact low capacity magazines to full-sized protection. When it clicks, it’s ready to insert. Perfect for when you want to carry a spare in your pocket but don’t want the bulk of full sized protection.

I stole most of that from Kotex.com

“Go from compact to full-sized protection in one easy move. When it clicks, it’s ready to insert. Perfect for when you want to carry a spare in your pocket.”

The two classifications of airsoft mags, low and hi cap, have two purposes, Hi cap for game play, low cap for scenario or reenactments.

Tomorrow well get started on standard magazines everything you thought you knew. Finishing the week with hi-caps.

Also the site is still broken. Some pages may not be working at full function. Give me a couple of days t o sort it out.
